Originally from Comfort, Texas, Dr. Clark graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, and received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the United States Army before completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and the Medical College of Georgia. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and in Dental Anesthesiology by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Clark served 12 years of active duty in the United States Army and an additional 8 years in the United States Navy Reserve, holding numerous surgical, instructional, and leadership roles throughout his military career. In 2004, he deployed to Baghdad, Iraq with the Army’s specialized Head and Neck Surgical Trauma Team, treating severe facial injuries related to combat trauma. He also served as Director of Navy Reserve Medicine’s Advanced Trauma Life Support Program and continues to instruct ATLS, ACLS, and PALS courses.

Dr. Clark practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with clinical interests including dental implants, facial trauma reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate repair, oral cancer surgery, cosmetic surgery, and dentoalveolar surgery. He is widely published and has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally on dental implants, facial reconstruction, and maxillofacial trauma.

Outside of practice, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with his wife, Heidi, and their son, Carson. He is also an avid supporter of Texas A&M athletics and enjoys hunting and fishing.
