Education
Dr. Eric Reed was raised in Springfield, Ohio. He received a B.A. with a double major in Biology and Chemistry with honors from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. He received the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1990, where he was elected into the National Dental Honor Society – Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Reed then completed Medical School and a year of General Surgery residency at the University of FL. His residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was also at the University of FL. A Facial Cosmetic Fellowship, through the University of FL, was completed with Dr. Greg Smith in Ponte Vedra, FL. Dr. Reed began practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery and facial cosmetic surgery in Daytona Beach in 1999. He then partnered with Dr. Contino in Naples in 2001, where he maintains privileges at Physicians Regional Hospital.
Dr. Reed is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also completed oral and written examinations involving facial cosmetic surgery during his board certification process.

Outside the office, Dr. Reed enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys being outside in the beauty of southwest FL golfing, kayaking, swimming, biking, running, paddleboarding, boating, going to the beach, and working out. Dr. Reed has completed several triathlons and has run races from 5k to marathons. He also enjoys reading, traveling and the company of good friends eating at nice restaurants in Naples.
